John 14: 9 - Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
There shouldn’t be any problem at all for the world and non-believers to know God. It should be the easiest thing because God's intention is that when people see us as his children, they would have automatically seen him. It is natural to expect that when we see your son/daughter, by virtue of the force of resemblance, we should have a fair idea of how you look. Actually, when you see some children and their parent(s), you will stand in awe at how very close they look alike.
This is God's intention; for the world to stand in awe when they encounter us and they immediately know they have met and seen God. He created man in his own image primarily to achieve this (read Genesis 1: 26-28). His vision and purpose is for every Christian to become exactly like Christ. "But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ church" (Eph.4:15 Amp.).
Just as "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God" (Col. 1:15a); so we are meant to be the visible representatives of God here on earth. If this is the case, when people see you they must have seen God, your Father. The early Christians had this testimony which made people in Antioch to call them Christians because they saw the resemblance of Jesus in them (Acts 11:26). The question is, "do people call you a 'Christian' when they see and encounter you?"
Prayers: Father I thank you for making me your child and giving me your Spirit. I cannot be here and the world is searching for you. I purpose in my heart and receive the grace to reveal you to people wherever I go in Jesus name.
