Isaiah 54:2 - “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.”
Our anchor scripture was a prophetic instruction to Jerusalem (who prophetically in this scripture was referred to as a barren woman - Read Isaiah 54:1). God wanted this “barren woman” to enlarge her building because she will soon expand and become great with children. God was saying this childless woman, will soon have children - so prepare for the many children. Suddenly what God has said changed the vision from one of desolation and barrenness to that of multiplication, increase and fruitfulness. Hallelujah!
What seemed impossible now becomes possible because of what God said. This is interesting. What you believe is possible can be influenced by what you hear and see. Romans 10:17 says; “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” It is therefore important that to attain new levels of glory that you have not even dreamed of but that is God’s Will for you, you need to see what God is saying concerning you. You have to expand your vision of what is possible.
Regardless of where you are, there are deeper depths and higher dimensions of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 says; “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” Look to the Spirit to guide you into those possible realities as you study scriptures and as you walk with the Lord.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank You for visions of glorious possibilities that You have ordained for my life. I receive grace for open eyes and a heart of faith to believe and walk in all that You have for me in Jesus Name. Amen
