Hebrews 10:23 - “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Many times in scripture, we see references to God’s faithfulness. To be faithful is to be trustworthy and reliable. It also means to have the quality of staying true or loyal to something or principles without ever changing. And God is never changing and can be relied upon for all time and in all seasons. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.
Therefore, if He kept His Word to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (yesterday), He will keep His Word to you (today). He never changes and He is faithful. Whatever Word He has given you or promise you have seen for yourself in scripture, you can hold onto it and you will see it come to pass as He said. “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” Numbers 23:19 (NLT).
Therefore quit being stressed over your life and how things may be going for you now. Don’t allow your heart be troubled. Rest in what He has said to you and be full of joy. Stand upon the Word He has given you for every promise in Him finds fulfilment. Regardless of how you feel right now, be strong with the Word that He has spoken to you and keep declaring that Word. He is faithful, “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!” Hebrews 10:35 (NLT).
Prayer: My Father, thank You for Your Word concerning my health, marriage, family, ministry, finances, and every area of my life. I refuse to give up my trust in Your Word as it is unto me according to Your good Word of favour, peace, rest and success in all areas of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
