New Thing, New Beginning

Thursday August 17, 2023

Isaiah 43: 18 - 19 - Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

God is a God of second chance and a new beginning. He'll never give up on his own nor abandon the apple of his eyes which you are (Psa.17:8; Zech.2:8). Your mistakes, errors and failures don't make him give up on you. So, don't give up on yourself. Rather, learn to fail forward by learning from your mistakes and using it to become a better person and mature child of God. God is giving you a new hope and a new beginning all round. He is giving you new victories. He is turning your mourning into dancing, and your sorrow into joy. (Psa.30:11-12).

Let your faith cling to Him in trust for an experience of newness in all areas of life. God is bringing a season of refreshing, peace, joy and rest upon you. It will be marked with progress, building, restoration, achievements and tangible results.

"The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring" (Isaiah 58:11).

God said, Behold, I am doing a new thing. Can't you see it? I am making a way in the wilderness and bringing water out of the desert. (Isaiah 43: 18-19). So, do not remember past failures, hurts, pains, disappointments, enemy assaults, delays and failures. I am doing something new, says the Lord. God is saying, I have moved on, don't remain in the past or you'll be left behind.

To experience the newness God brings, your vessel must be made new and ready to receive the new wine, blessings, visions, dreams, ideas, greatness and glory prepared for you. "And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins" (Mark 2: 22). Change your thinking, perspective, mindset, expectations, attitudes, etc; and remove everything negative and embrace the positives. Make your vessel clean and ready!

Prayer: Thank you Father for never forsaking me but giving me a second chance and new beginning. I remove every hindrance and present my vessel for new wine, and I embrace the new thing you have for me, Lord.
