Genesis 1:3-5 - “And God said let there be light and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night..."
Every aspect of a man's life is comprised of two seasons: the day and the night. Everyone will pass through some night seasons of life. David described his night season as walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but confirmed God's presence with him (Psa 23:4). Joseph passed through his but had a good attitude all through and held on to God until his dream materialised.
It does not matter what your own dark season is. There is an assurance of the presence of the Father of lights. He promised in Isaiah 43:2 to be with you when you pass through the waters. Also, when you pass through situations like fire, He promised the flame will not set you ablaze; and He keeps His Word like He did for the three Hebrew children (See Daniel 3:16-28).
When life brings a night season in any aspect, i e. marriage, career, finance, health, ministry, or regarding your children; all you need to do is to switch the light on. You do that by holding on to Jesus - the author and finisher of your faith. In addition, you need to find the scriptures that relate to that aspect of life and hold on to those scriptures in faith. Then, you continue to confess it until your change comes.
God will surely come through for you, and your story will give birth to glory like that of Joseph. As the day is not complete without the morning; so is your story not complete until your morning comes, and the glory of God breaks forth in your life. So, be encouraged; it's your time to testify of God's goodness and blessings. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to wait on You in my night seasons. Let every weeping cease in my life, and let my night season give way for the breaking of a new day and launch me into my season of celebration in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
